This month we get to welcome 2 new beehives.
WE are so so excited.
It will almost double the amount of Young Women we have in our program.
My Second Counselor is AWESOME!!
She wanted to do something really fun to welcome these girls.
So she decided to get all the girls together and kidnap the 2 new beehives
for breakfast.
Saturday, July 30th they woke both new girls from sleep.
They woke Brooklyn by singing ...
the chorus from "Noah's Song"
"Rise and Shine and give god his glory glory"
She was quick to rise.
Entering house number 2.
They woke Nicci by singing "Happy Birthday"
since it was her birthday.
She was a little slower to rise...
All loaded and off to Breakfast at Marilyn's house
Aren't these the most darling girls in their Jammie's.
Look at those smiling faces.
We just love them.
Breakfast consisted of a Waffle Bar
and
juice or chocolate milk.
I was sickly amazed by the mixture of items they put on their waffles.
Teenagers!! :)
We're told by her mom this is the only time we will catch Mckenzie makeup-less...

Marilyn even put together welcome bags for the two girls.
A personal progress journal to go with their books.
The Torch necklace
and a cute jar titled "My Life in a Jar".
It will help them to record memories that will make up their life history.
The girls also loved reading laffy taffy jokes
and overall enjoying each others company.
They are the greatest girls.
We are lucky to have each one of them
with their darling personalities.
