Again I am doing catch up with this blog. This is the first of about 6 posts about the last month or so of activities.
November 8th. Combined Activity to the Temple.
Our ward started a great tradition.
Today the youth all met at the temple at 4:00p.m. and did baptisms for the dead.
After we completed the baptisms we met the adults at 6:00 pm. in a private room for dinner.
Young Men and Young Women were able to have dinner with their parents in the temple.
After dinner the adults go on to do temple work, and the youth go home.
The ward funds this activity to encourage temple work in families.
It was a great experience and the youth really enjoyed it.
They loved being able to go to dinner with the adults.
The temple president and his wife also came in and shared a few words.
I hope it's a tradition that lasts for many years.
