For our activity this week we had Sister Hathaway come and teach the Young Women how to lead and conduct all music. It was a lot of fun. Sister Hathaway came very prepared with different teaching methods. She also provided each girl with a conductors wand (a long piece of Laffy Taffy). The girls enjoyed learning this skill. We leaders were happy to learn how to lead music as well. Each girl will then choose a hymn that they will practice and lead in Young Womens so they can pass off a Personal Progress goal. Of course we had refreshments.
