To celebrate Mothers Day we had a Mother, Daughter Dinner.
The theme was the 60's.
Flower Power and all that.
We had a lot of fun decorating for this.
We served BBQ Chicken Sandwiches
Green Salad with Homemade Ranch dressing
Watermelon and Chips.
Lemonade to drink
and Jello cake for dessert.
It was delicious.
It was fun for the Young Women to spend a relaxing night with their moms.
We then played the Mommy Wed Game.
(in lieu of the Newlywed Game)
same rules.
Each girl was asked a 5, 10, 15 and 25 point question about their mom
and the moms were then asked a 5, 10, 15 and 25 point question about their daughter.
It was fun to see how well they each new each other and what surprised them as well.
The questions asked to the mothers about the girls:
1- What is your daughters favorite food?
2- What is your daughters favorite color?
3- What is your daughters least favorite subject?
4- What is your daughters favorite musical group or singer?
The questions asked to the daughters about their mothers:
1- What is her favorite thing to cook?
2- What is her favorite state?
3- Where would her dream vacation be to?
4- What is her favorite Season?
It was so much fun.
We plan to honor our fathers in June by having a Daddy Daughter Date too.
